Christopher Calvird was my eldest son. He had just celebrated his 29th birthday with his family and had expressed the desire to become a Christian pastor and start up his own church. This was his goal, as he had been ministering to people on the streets of San Francisco over the past 5 years. Sadly, he did not get the chance to make his dream a reality. 3 weeks after his birthday, Christopher was found alone, dead and in a praying position inside Golden Gate Park. Autopsy revealed that the culprit was Fentanyl Poisoning. Although I will never know what events led up to his demise or who is responsible, I find comfort in knowing that at that moment, when he knew something was wrong and dropped to his knees, Jesus was there with him as he took his last breath.
